The heart: The low voltage piston compressor (12V or 24V)

There are significant qualitiy differences in terms of compressors.
We count on aggregates from Germany or the USA as both of them are remarkably firm.  The german product is a hotrunner for years now. It is also used in the maritim range (BSH / DHI).

Functional principle

The required air comes from the air-storing tank, the pressure boiler. The piston compressor fills the boiler on request. At this juncture the pressure switch regulates the requirement. If the pressure recedes under a certain degree (bar) by reason of consumption, the pressure switch will start the compressor, which will fill the pressure boiler. As soon as the pressur switch signals that the cut-out pressure is met, the compressor is turned off. How long the boiler supply lasts depends on the pumping capacity of the compressor and the concumption rate.
