Shiny protection for your precious aluminium rims
Why Jumbo accesoires for aluminium rims? The hubs and wheel nuts, which are made of steel, accumulate dirt from streets easily. For this reason the steel muss be varnished regulary in order to keep them acceptable. Still the defilement affects the surface of the rims - doesn't matter whether they are polished or varnished. You can achieve a remarkable attrition reduction by using cover caps. And if you want to have it gleamy: Why don't you get a polished stainless steel lining from Jumbo? They are the logical addition the a gleamy alloy wheel.
Bolt holes of the size 26 or 32? Aluminium wheel rims with 32 bolt holes are mostly mounted ex factory or in a backfitting. Reason for this is that they can use the same bolts like the ones for steel rims. Usually the bolts for alloy rims are lengthened because of the thick material. But in this case the bolt length stays the same, instead the have the 32 bolt hole. The rims are affixed with special sleeve nuts. A threaded shaft which fits in the bigger bolt hole, follows the hexagonal nut. The internal srew thread allows additional windings - ergo stability. Naturally 32 bolt holes | sleeve nuts are only used for aluminium rims. The wheel nut cap differs a bit from the standart nut. Beside the different shaft there is a rotable press-on disc and a hexangonal bar. This causes the different forms of the wheel nut caps. If sleeve nuts are used the shaft needs to fit through the attachment angle of the hub lining. This is because our hub lining is affixed to the wheel bolt. Here we conceived of something new: Most of the Jumbo hub linings not only fit to 26 rims but also to bolt holes of the size 32. Every hole in the fastening angle has a calibre of 32mm. The essential number of adapter rings ad 32 | id 26 is attached to the hub lining. The high-precision part (laserd) reduces the calibre so that it fits to a standart nut. By this you are always on the right side.
