Our original Jumbo air horns have almost become a generic term. One speaks of the "Jumbo-Horn". Reason for this is certainly the proverbial quality and "the bon ton on streets". After all the Jumbo-Horn was the first of it's kind, when it shaped the phrase "Jumbo Horn - Wind von vorn"  early in the 50s.

There is not a big difference between air horns and musical instruments: The compressed air and the volume determine the sound volume. The length of the horn determines the deepness of the tone and the size of the sound breaker. This means the deep vibrating tone can only be achieved with the long sound horn.

But why don't you simply listen to our horns?

The combinating horn sizes are coordinated so that there is a harmonic double sound when they are used together. If you mount two horns of the same size they will both sound the same. It's simply a matter of taste. If you prefer to mount one horn on the left side and the other one on the right side, it will be the best to install them on the same level at the front so that the length difference will not be visible.

You can use the air horn in 3 different ways. The basic principle is always the same: You need a valve, which opens to let the air exhaust. Now you can use your muscle strength by either stepping on the foot valve or by pulling the trigger line with your hands. Unfortunately both methods can not replace your daily body building exercises. The more elegant methode is the activation of a electronic valve (magnetic valve). Here you usually use the common horn button of the vehicle.

Of course you should seek happiness in your own way, but real freedom is where also borders and limits are. Let's stay in Prussia and express it with Kant: Act only according to that maxim whereby you can at the same time will that it should become a universal law. Please don't use loud tone horns in built-up areas. And if you install a magnetic valve please leave the the original horn activated (with the help of a reverser), because otherwise you will loose the operating licence for your vehicle.
